Sensible Approaches to ePedigree Challenges
ePedigree legislation may offer suppliers multiple serialization technology options, including 2D bar codes, LF RFID, or UHF RFID. So how does one choose?
A number of factors need to be considered when determining an optimum deployment scheme. Sometimes suboptimal technology decisions result from inaccurate performance data.
This session is geared to describe lower cost, higher-performance technology evolution alternatives, previously considered infeasible. Emphasis will be placed on a single, simplified infrastructure which can enhance production, distribution and retail inventory efficiencies throughout the pharmaceutical supply chain at the item, case, and pallet levels.
Exemplary discussions will include tagging of challenging products such as liquids, metalized blister packs, and vials. Technology updates will address such features as authentication enhancements, public and private data partitions, and access.
After attending this session, participants will be equipped to plan a serialization scheme with the maximum ROI potential.
