Introducing Lean Sigma to Drive Performance Improvements in Healthcare
Six Sigma and Lean Sigma are well-understood concepts outside the healthcare industry. With over 20 years of success in multiple industries, the results are now being applied to healthcare. SBTI will show you how many of the attributes that distinguish Lean Sigma, the integration of Lean and Six Sigma, from other methodologies are the same characteristics that make them so successful. Using the framework of a common hospital process problem, we will demonstrate how Lean and Six Sigma methods can be successfully applied in a healthcare environment to gain unprecedented results.
Key takeaways include:
- Lean and Six Sigma – a basic understanding of what they are and how they work
- How integrating Lean and Six Sigma gains both speed and accuracy in your processes
- A real world case example of a Lean Sigma project applied to the common healthcare process: Medication Delivery Time
- Achieving results: The pitfalls and how to avoid them
- How to accelerating the approach – gaining results in days or weeks versus months
This webinar is part of a series sponsored by SBTI
