Laurie Weiss is a partner in Fulbright & Jaworski L.L.P.'s San Antonio office and has enjoyed an active litigation practice. Prior to joining Fulbright & Jaworski in 1988, Laurie had a 10-year career in business, including work with a service company providing computer-based risk management information services to major U.S. corporations.
Ms. Weiss received her J.D., with honors, from The University of Texas School of Law, an M.B.A. from West Texas State University (now West Texas A&M University), and her B.S.E. from the University of Kansas. After graduating from the University of Kansas, Ms. Weiss spent a year teaching English as a second language in Brazil and then went on to a ten-year career in business.
While in law school, she was a member of the Texas Law Review and was honored as a member of the Order of the Coif. She was admitted to practice law in Texas in 1988 and is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Western, Southern and Northern Districts and the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Mr. Bookwalter is the CEO of FMDC, a compliance consultancy company that he founded in 1985. Formerly, Executive Vice President of Instinet, Mr. Bookwalter has worked in over 20 countries worldwide implementing regulated IT systems for securities trading and business processing. Mr Bookwalter is currently a consultant for AXS-One, a leading provider of high performance records compliance management software solutions.
